Collective Breath 2009 The Collective Breath Series explored breath and breathing articulated in jewelry and small hand held objects. The series started with a study of where our breath was visible. For example- a balloon- blown up becomes a container for our breath. Making this work was a conscious exercise in paying attention to the autonomic movement that accompanies us moment to moment.

Connection 2012 The Connection Series arose from an observation of relationships. Two everyday objects; shoe strings and reflectors were used to explore connections between people. The strings represented the ties that bind and hold us together and reflectors represented the need for safe distance and space at times. (click on the images to see the series)
